Placement Tests
In order for your students to be successful with Direct Instruction Spoken English (DISE), it is important that they are placed at the proper starting point in the program that matches their English language skills and receive instruction in DISE for sufficient time in the program daily.
Here is the “if-then” assessment decision-making flow chart for administering the DISE placement tests:

Mastery Tests
Mastery Tests take place periodically to ensure that students are learning to mastery. Level 1 has tests after lessons 15, 30, 60, and 100. Level 2 has tests after lessons 10, 20, 40, and 60. Access the tests as well as the displays that accompany the tests through the following links:
